Attic24 Sampler Blanket, Part 8.
I begin today with a huuuuge apology to anyone who has been following along! As I know this post is rather delayed. I've had a flare up of an old injury, so I've been following up with doctors, waiting on scans, and getting used to new medication.
As ever, crochet has been my comfort and my therapy, keeping me sane. I think often of the Proverbs 31 woman, who "selects wool and flax and works with eager hands".
We continue now with row 103, a ripple set up row..
Switch to shrimp. Chain 2 (counts as first htc), work *htc, tc, tc, dtc, dtc, tc, tc, htc, htc^, dc, dc, dc, dc, htc*, repeat from *-* until end, ending final repeat at ^.
Row 104: Switch to pomegranate. Work one ripple stripe.. chain 2, tc in next stitch (=tc2tog), tc, tc, *2tc in next stitch, 2tc in next stitch, tc, tc, tc, tc, tc2tog, tc2tog, tc, tc, tc, tc*, work *-* until 6 stitches remaining, work 2tc in next stitch, 2tc in next stitch, tc, tc, tc2tog.
Row 105: Repeat row 104.
Row 106: Switch to powder pink. Repeat row 104.
Row 107: Repeat row 104.
Row 108: Switch to plum. Repeat row 104.
Row 109: Repeat row 104.
Row 110: Switch to storm blue. This is the ripple fill in row. Chain 3 (counts as first tc) work *htc, htc, dc, dc, dc, dc, htc, htc, tc,^ tc, dtc, dtc, tc, tc*, repeating from *-* and ending the final repeat at ^.
This should give you a nice flat edge to set up the next section of neat wave stitches 😀
Row 112: Work neat wave row 1.. Chain 3 (counts as first tc) *htc, htc, dc, dc, dc, dc, htc, htc, tc^, tc*, repeat from *-*, ending final repeat at ^.
Row 113: Switch to mustard. Work neat wave row 2.. Chain 2 (counts as first dc) dc, *htc, htc, tc, tc, htc, htc, dc, dc^, dc, dc*, repeat from *-*, ending final repeat at ^.
Row 114: Repeat neat wave row 2.
Row 115: Switch to soft peach. Repeat neat wave row 1.
Row 116: Repeat neat wave row 1.
Row 117: Switch to fuchsia purple. Repeat neat wave row 2.
Row 118: Repeat neat wave row 2.
Row 119: Switch to bright pink. Repeat neat wave row 1.
Row 120: Chain 2 (counts as first htc) htc in each stitch to end.
So that's it for today, but I'll be back later this week with a new stitch.
Lots of love, Natalie xxx.
